Kimberly, a third generation La Jollan, brings her clients a unique perspective and European heritage background. Her grandmother, originally from Austria, settled in La Jolla and became quite the real estate investor in the 1940s near Marine Street beach, owning the neighborhood Marine Street Market, the still famous El Ranchero restaurant, apartment buildings and made the family home nearby.
Along came the next generation, Kimberly’s parents, who met over a romantic business proposal as 7 years olds in La Jolla. Harry Soldau proposed to Patricia by saying: “If you help me with my newspaper route, I’ll marry you”. She agreed and they were married 13 years later and began their family.
Their oldest daughter, Kimberly, is one of the few that can say was born at the original Scripps Hospital in the village of La Jolla. She graduated from SDSU in Industrial Art with emphasis in Photography. She used her keen eye as she began her real estate career as an investor and successfully completed a Solana Beach extensive remodel flip and a conversion of 16 apartments to condominiums. Additionally she managed eight private rental properties.
Her knowledge of the local residential market also comes from having lived in beach communities including La Jolla, Pacific Beach and Solana Beach, and now she currently lives in Olivenhain, on the border of Rancho Santa Fe. During her off time, she loves reading business success books and for fun, she is often accompanied by her Australian Shepherd, Foster, who enjoys long bike rides in his custom dog basket.
